Vasco DA Gama announced the extension of defender Robert Renan's loan, who will now stay at the club until the end of 2026. Initially, the defender was on loan until June 30, but the club's management activated the contractual clause that allowed this automatic renewal. The club has already contacted Zenit from Russia to formalize the extension of the contract. The agreement also includes a purchase option set at 8 million euros, approximately R$ 46.7 million. To secure the player's permanent stay, Vasco needs to express interest by November. The management positively evaluated this extension as it helps organize the club's cash flow. In addition to Robert Renan, Vasco DA Gama has three other players on loan, all with stipulated goals and purchase values. Conversely, midfielder Matheus França will not remain at the club after the World Cup break, returning to Crystal Palace in England.
